Adams Classic
Adams Classic is a classic, versatile dry fly tied to represent adult mayflies. Leonard Halladay developed the Adams pattern in Michigan in the 1920s. Reach for it when trout and grayling are taking mayflies from the surface but the hatch is difficult to identify.
Fish it on a dead drift in currents, over riffles and through quieter runs. Tied on a barbless hook.
