Akita 596BL Fly Hooks (25)

Akita 596BL (25) is a barbless fly hook intended for dry flies. It is suited to classic surface patterns where the proportions of the body, wing and hackle need to remain controlled, and where straightforward fish release is part of the fishing method. Use it as a base for light, floating constructions.

Design and use

Match the materials to the hook’s working space and avoid overloading the finished profile. The barbless point supports easier unhooking, while a steady line connection remains important during the fight. The 596BL can be selected for dry insect imitations, small attractors and other patterns presented on the surface.
