Akita 764BL Fly Hooks

Akita 764BL is a barbless hook intended for scud and nymph patterns. It covers gammarus imitations and other subsurface flies designed around a compact, readable silhouette. With suitable materials, it can support both a simple imitation and a more detailed nymph construction.

Design and use

When tying, match the body length and segmentation to the available space and keep the point as clear as practical. The barbless point aids unhooking but calls for controlled line tension during the fight. Select this model for scuds, nymphs and weighted constructions whose proportions suit the intended fly.
