Akita AK 305 Fly Hooks (25)

Akita AK 305 is a barbed salmon hook for traditional salmon and steelhead flies. Its reinforced heavy-wire construction and T.U. profile provide a substantial base for patterns intended for large salmonids, including taimen.

Design and use

The straight, extended shank offers tying room for the body, wing and hackle of a salmon fly. Its upturned loop eye works naturally with the proportions of traditional salmon patterns. Heavy reinforced wire is suited to robust constructions where a solid hook platform is required. The black finish fits both classic and contemporary salmon fly designs.
