Akita AK 431 BL Fly Hooks (25)

Akita AK 431 BL is a barbless fly hook intended primarily for streamers and also suitable for larger nymphs. Its strong construction makes it a practical choice for trout patterns that need a substantial hook base and easy release.

Design and use

The straight eye and forged construction provide a useful platform for compact streamers and nymphs carrying a larger amount of material. Build the fly in proportions suited to its streamer-and-nymph role, leaving clear tying space for the body and tail. The bronze finish works well with natural colour schemes. The barbless point makes this model suitable for fisheries and handling practices that require a barbless hook.
