Akita AK 781BL Fly Hooks (20)

Akita AK 781BL (20) is a barbless fly hook for nymphs and gammarus patterns. It is suited to flies with a defined, compact body and to patterns that benefit from the weight associated with medium wire.

Design and use

The down eye provides a clear starting point for tying and a practical finish at the head. Use the shank space to divide the pattern into abdomen, thorax and the final head section. The barbless design is suitable for controlled fish handling, while the medium wire supports a balanced choice between a light body and a more substantial nymph.
