Akita AK 791 BL Fly Hooks (25)
Akita AK 791 BL (25) is a classic barbless fly hook for wet flies. The thick wire adds weight to the foundation, making it suitable for patterns intended to sink readily while retaining a compact profile.
Design and use
The straight eye supports a conventional wet-fly finish, while the non-forged construction leaves material selection to the tier. Plan the pattern around a short tail, body and thorax rather than an overly long silhouette. The Black Nickel finish provides a dark base that works with a range of traditional wet-fly materials and colour combinations.
