Aqua Artic Polarized Fishing Sunglasses
Aqua Artic is a large, sporty pair of polarised fishing sunglasses with a strongly curved, wraparound profile. The satin-black TR90 frame and base-8 lens curve provide broad panoramic coverage, while the 23 g weight helps keep them comfortable during long sessions. Polarisation reduces glare reflected from water and other flat surfaces, improving contrast and making subsurface detail easier to observe when light levels and water clarity allow.
Yellow Aqua PL lenses are intended for low light, shaded water and dusk. The blue-mirrored PL option is suited to very bright conditions and prolonged exposure to strong light; blue describes the mirror coating rather than necessarily the tint seen through the lens. The amber Aqua Polarchromic option combines polarisation with photochromic light transmission, reaching maximum light absorption after 30 seconds in sunlight according to Aqua. PL lenses are made from TAC sheet with a surface treatment that improves scratch resistance. Aqua also declares total UV protection for its fishing lenses.
