Aqua Minnow Polarized Fishing Sunglasses
Aqua Minnow is a large, regular-fit polarised fishing sunglass in size L. Its strongly curved, base-8 wraparound frame gives broad panoramic coverage, while the wide temples help shield the eyes from side light. The rectangular satin-black frame is made from TR90 nylon and weighs 24 g.
PL versions use lightweight polarised lenses made from TAC triacetate sheet with a scratch-resistant surface treatment. They reduce glare reflected from water and other flat surfaces, improving contrast and making subsurface detail easier to observe when light levels and water clarity allow. Aqua states that its fishing lenses provide total UV protection.
Yellow is suited to low light, shaded water and dusk, while grey and brown manage excessive brightness in strong daylight. Blue- and gold-mirrored options are intended for very bright conditions; the mirror colour describes the coating rather than the tint seen through the lens. The amber Polarchromic lens combines polarisation with changing light transmission and, according to Aqua, reaches maximum light absorption after 30 seconds in sunlight.
