Blae And Black

Blae And Black is a traditional wet fly with a dark, understated character, intended for trout and grayling. It is worth using on colder days, in overcast conditions and in clear water, when fish are reluctant to respond to bright patterns.

Fish it slowly beneath the surface, using the current for a natural drift with slight tension in the line. Finish the retrieve with a gentle lift. Barbless hook, sizes #12 and #14.
