BWO Quill Jig is a slim nymph tied on a jig hook, imitating the small nymphs of Blue-Winged Olive mayflies. It is worth trying during hatches of small mayflies, when trout and grayling are taking small food below the surface.

Fish it short-line nymphing, under an indicator or as the lower fly in a rig. Sizes #16 and #18 are suited to selective feeding. Barbless hook.
