CDC Sedge Hackled Olive
CDC Sedge Hackled Olive is a dry fly imitating an adult caddisfly. CDC feathers from around the preen-gland area and the hackle create a distinct olive version of the pattern.
For trout and grayling feeding near the surface, it is suited to slower runs, glides and marginal currents when caddisflies are appearing on the river. Cast upstream and present it on a dead drift without drag. Tied on a barbless hook, it is available in sizes #12, #14 and #16.
