Coachman
Coachman is a classic pattern used as a dry fly when fish are taking insects from the surface but there is no clearly defined hatch. Choose it for trout or grayling water, particularly in faster currents and light riffles.
Cast upstream or slightly across the current and let the fly drift without retrieving it. Tied on a barbless hook.
