Dr Slick 1.75 Brass Hair Stacker

Dr Slick 1.75 Brass Hair Stacker is a compact brass hair stacker measuring 1.75 inches long with a 6 mm internal diameter. It is designed to even the tips of small bunches of hair and other materials that can be aligned by lightly tapping the base against the bench. The flared opening makes it easier to place fibres inside the barrel, while the smooth sliding action allows the barrel to be separated from the base after stacking so the aligned tips can be grasped with minimal disturbance. Its small bore provides useful control over modest amounts of material used for wings, tails and similar fly components.

The brass construction gives the tool noticeable weight, helping it remain steady while the material is being settled. This version has low static build-up, reducing the tendency of light fibres to cling to the internal walls. A neoprene pad beneath the base cushions contact with the work surface and helps protect the tabletop from marks caused by repeated tapping.
