Dr Slick Cuda Long Nose 8.5 in Pliers
Dr Slick Cuda Long Nose 8.5 in Pliers are long-reach fishing pliers made for handling larger flies, tough leaders and fish with sharp teeth. Their 8.5-inch length and extended jaws provide useful reach when a hook is set well inside the mouth, helping the angler keep their hand farther away while maintaining controlled access to the hook.
The straight jaws feature an aggressive gripping pattern for holding a hook securely during removal. They can also be used to crush barbs and crimp copper leader sleeves. A side cutter handles monofilament and light wire rated up to 20 lb, while cutter location markings make the cutting section easier to identify during use.
Foam-covered handles provide a comfortable grip, and the raised hand stop helps prevent the hand from sliding towards the jaws. A wrist lanyard and holster are included for secure carrying and convenient access on the water. After exposure to salt water or dirt, rinse the pliers in fresh water and dry them thoroughly. Applying a small amount of oil to the joint from time to time will help preserve smooth operation.
