Emerger Parachute CDC Pheasant Tail

Emerger Parachute CDC Pheasant Tail is an emerger from the Pheasant Tail family, intended for trout and grayling taking insects as they emerge. Fish it on a dead drift in the surface film, particularly when there are only occasional rises and the fish are ignoring high-riding dry flies.

The parachute and CDC, feathers from around the preen gland, help the fly work at the surface. It is tied on a barbless hook in sizes #14, #16 and #18.
