EP Anadromus Brush 2.5 in. Wide

EP Anadromus Brush 2.5 in. Wide is a ready brush of translucent synthetic fibres secured in a stainless-wire core. Its exact 2.5-inch width builds a substantial profile quickly, without measuring and arranging individual strands. The material does not absorb water, helping the fly retain a consistent profile and movement during the retrieve.

Construction and use

Secure the brush near the hook eye or at the rear of the hook, then wrap it along the shank while sweeping the fibres back after each turn. Tie off the wire core firmly and shape the profile with scissors. EP Anadromus Brush 2.5 in. Wide suits large salmon and steelhead streamers as well as saltwater patterns representing baitfish, crabs or shrimp.

• Construction: a ready synthetic-fibre blend held in a wire core.
• Dimension: the brush is exactly 2.5 inches wide.
• Preparation: secure the core, wrap it along the shank and sweep fibres rearward.
• Finishing: trim the material for a slim side profile, a fuller back or a tapered transition.
