EP Silky Fibers 8 in. Long are loose, translucent synthetic fibres for streamer wings, tails and lateral sections of baitfish profiles. They are exactly 8 inches long and do not absorb water, so they remain light and retain free movement after entering the water. Their soft, silky texture allows layers to be combined without creating a rigid or unnecessarily dense mass.

Construction and use

Remove a small bundle, align the tips or stagger them, and secure it firmly on the hook shank. The fibres can be layered, tapered by pulling out selected strands, and trimmed to suit a particular streamer. Use them for baitfish, crab and shrimp profiles, including flies intended to work on a dead drift as well as under an active retrieve.
