FFGene Brass Hackle Pliers Large

FFGene Brass Hackle Pliers Large are large hackle pliers built around an elongated, spring-action brass loop body. Their straightforward design features two flat, opposing jaws intended to hold a feather stem while successive turns of hackle are wound around the hook.

The loop serves as both the handle and the spring element, allowing the jaws to be operated without a tension-adjustment screw. A fixed, non-rotating head transfers hand movement directly to the held feather, helping the tier control its position and tension during winding. The Large variant provides a bigger gripping loop than the smaller version of this model.
