FFGene Dazl Eyes
FFGene Dazl Eyes are brass dumbbell-style eyes for weighting the front of nymphs and streamers. Their mass affects sink rate and can help set a fly hook-point up when the eyes are positioned correctly on the shank.
Construction and use
Place the eyes crosswise on the shank and secure them firmly with a series of figure-eight wraps, passing the thread between the two balls. Finish the tie-in with suitable varnish or resin. Match the size to the hook and pattern profile, and check clearance around the hook eye and bend before mounting. Brass provides less ballast than a comparable tungsten component.
