FFGene Dubbing tool small
FFGene Dubbing tool small is a compact dubbing twister with a simple forked construction. Its two splayed arms end in hooks that support a thread loop or two wire strands while the material is arranged and twisted. The tool can therefore be used to form both a conventional dubbing loop and a wire-core dubbing brush.
Once the strands are placed on the hooks, dubbing, hair or a blend of natural and synthetic fibres can be arranged between them, including reflective accents. Turning the handle twists the strands and traps the material in the core, producing a dubbing rope or brush that can be wound to form a body, thorax or another textured part of a fly. The separated arms leave useful working space for distributing the fibres before twisting.

- Two splayed arms with hooked ends.
- For conventional dubbing loops made with tying thread.
- For twisting brushes between two wire strands.
- Allows different dubbings and reflective fibres to be combined.
- Small, straightforward design without a rotary mechanism.
