FFGene Electric Bio-Silk Silicone Legs

FFGene Electric Bio-Silk Silicone Legs are prepared silicone leg strands supplied on a tab, in the Electric Bio-Silk finish family. Divide the tab into individual sections for nymph legs, feelers and tails, or use grouped strands as a mobile wing detail on streamers, poppers and saltwater flies. The prepared strands are ready to separate and tie in.

Construction and use

Separate the required number of strands from the tab and cut them before tying, or trim them after positioning on the hook. Secure a strand by its centre or by one end according to the pattern and desired length. Spread thread wraps and apply moderate pressure so the silicone is held without being cut. Several strands can be grouped for a fuller wing, while single strands suit smaller legs and feelers.
