FFGene Peacock Eyes color
FFGene Peacock Eyes color consists of 2 dyed, cut eye sections from peacock tail feathers. The sections provide narrow quill strips with a distinct two-tone pattern once the soft fibres are removed from the eye. Dyeing supplies the colour, allowing the tier to create uniform or strongly contrasting bodies.
Construction and use
The material is wound as a slim quill body on dry flies such as Blue Quill, Yellow Quill and Red Spinner. The same section also creates segmented bodies on other patterns whenever a neat, restrained pattern is required. Its narrow strip forms a continuous surface and gives the body clear segmentation.
