FFGene Real Silicone Legs

FFGene Real Silicone Legs are prepared silicone leg strands in multicolour, baitfish-style printed combinations. Separate the tab into individual strands and tie them in as legs, feelers, tails or mobile accents on nymphs, streamers, saltwater flies and pike flies. The printed colour arrangement adds defined detail while allowing several visual tones to be placed with one material.

Construction and use

Cut the required length from the tab, then divide it into as many strands as the pattern calls for. Tie the strands in at selected points on the hook shank, checking their length and spacing before tightening the thread. Several strands can be grouped for a wing accent, while the ends may be trimmed after the material is secured. Looser wraps preserve more movement; short, firm wraps hold the strands in position and help prevent them from slipping.
