FFGene Regular Tungsten Beads Metallic-2

FFGene Regular Tungsten Beads Metallic-2 are tungsten fly-tying beads with a central hole for conventional hook mounting. They provide concentrated ballast in a compact form, helping to build flies that descend quickly toward the bottom.

Construction and use

The metallic finish reflects light as part of the fly’s front profile. Thread the bead onto the hook shank through its central hole before tying. Select it for the hook, eye and required silhouette, then check that it passes over the eye and seats correctly. Tungsten concentrates ballast near the front of the fly, while the proportions of the finished pattern also depend on the selected bead size and hook.
