FFGene Super Shad Silicone Legs
FFGene Super Shad Silicone Legs consists of prepared silicone leg strands intended to be separated into individual strands and tied in as legs, feelers, tails or mobile accents. The material can also be added to the wings of streamers, poppers and pike flies. The family contains colour variants named within the Shad pattern group, so the exact shade and contrast depend on the selected version.
Construction and use
Cut the required number of strands from the tab, separate them with your fingers or a needle point, and secure them at the chosen position. For legs, keep both sides consistent in length; for a wing, align the strands and hold them with a few lighter wraps before making the final tie-in. Trim the excess after finishing the head or tie-in point. Varying the number and length of strands changes the volume of the addition without altering the basic fly construction.
