FFGene Tungsten Anodized Slotted Beads (Small Hole)

FFGene Tungsten Anodized Slotted Beads (Small Hole) are slotted tungsten beads with a small hole for fly patterns requiring front-end weight. This construction makes it easier to seat the bead on selected hooks, particularly when a closed hole would be difficult to pass around the hook bend.

Construction and use

The slot allows the bead to be placed over the shank and hook bend, while the smaller opening helps match it to the appropriate hook arrangement. Tungsten provides compact ballast for nymphs and streamers. Before tying, check that the hole and slot suit the eye, shank diameter and bend of the particular hook; after mounting, make sure the bead is seated securely. The anodized surface provides a coloured finish that reflects light.
