FFGene Tungsten Slotted Bright Beads-6
FFGene Tungsten Slotted Bright Beads-6 are slotted tungsten beads for constructing weighted nymphs, jigs and streamers. Tungsten supplies concentrated ballast, while the Bright finish reflects light at the front of the fly.
Construction and use
The slotted design helps the bead pass over a hook when the bend makes a conventional central hole difficult to use, especially on jig hooks. Match the bead to the particular hook and check the opening and slot against the hook eye and bend before mounting. Once seated at the eye, stabilise it while tying in accordance with the pattern’s construction. Select the size for the shank length, fly proportions and required amount of weight.
