Greys GR80 Fly Rods - The new Greys GR80 range are 4 piece Single Hand Fly Rods and the range has been massively upgraded with the introduction of 3M Powerlux 1000™ resin into its high modulus carbon construction. Lightweight, refined actions combined with increased strength and impact resistance result in a range of rods to meet the demands of all river and stillwater anglers.

The key to the performance of 3M Powerlux™ technology is ts incredibly high shear modulus (stiffness of material) - 60% higher than typical epoxy resins. This allows the resin to compensate for one of the primary weaknesses of carbon fibre composites - their relatively low compression strength resulting in improvements of up to 30% over standard fibre technology.
