Griffin Tying Tools Hair Evener/ Stacker Regular is an aluminum hair stacker in the Regular size, designed to align hair tips before the material is secured to a hook. The tool measures 2 3/4" overall, with a 1 3/4" funnel and a 5/8" funnel opening. These proportions provide a controlled way to prepare measured bunches for wings, tails and other fly elements where evenly arranged fibers are required.

Hair is inserted into the funnel tips first, then the base is tapped lightly against the bench several times. The fibers move downward until their tips rest at a common level; after the tool is tilted and the funnel removed, the aligned bunch can be picked up for tying. Knurling on the base provides a more secure grip during this process. A rubber pad underneath helps reduce noise and protects the tying surface from tapping marks.
