Griffin Tying Tools Spinning Loop Tool
Griffin Tying Tools Spinning Loop Tool is a weighted dubbing spinner designed for use with a conventional loop formed from the tying thread. Its spring-wire arms hold the loop open while material is positioned, then bring the sides together when the tool is lowered in preparation for spinning. This arrangement makes it easier to place longer fibres and materials that can be difficult to control.
The spring mechanism allows the loop to be reopened so that more material can be added without restarting the process. The weighted body helps maintain thread tension and set the tool into a rapid spinning motion. It can be used with materials including dubbing, marabou, coarse hair, hackle fibres, herl and fur strips, forming a twisted strand ready to wind around the hook shank. Complete operating instructions are included.
