H2O Flash N Slinky 12 inch (flash)

H2O Flash N Slinky 12 inch (flash) is a ready blend of synthetic Slinky Fibre and ribbed, reflective Gliss N Glow. It combines fibres for building body and silhouette with a reflective accent, allowing a streamer wing to be prepared without measuring several materials separately. The 12-inch length is useful when cutting larger profiles or dividing the material into shorter sections.

Construction and use

Use the blend in layers, graduating the fibre length from the tie-in point toward the tips. Slinky Fibre gives the wing a fuller shape, while Gliss N Glow places reflective strands throughout the blend.

• Streamer wings Measure a small bundle, secure it firmly on the hook shank, and separate the fibres before adding another layer.
• Backs and sides Place the material over or along the body, controlling the amount so the fibres retain free movement.
• Baitfish profiles Build several steps of length, then comb and trim the ends to form a tapering outline.
• Working the blend Separate it with your fingers and use short, tight thread wraps at each tie-in point.
