H2O Gliss N Glow

H2O Gliss N Glow consists of loose synthetic strands with a ribbed surface that scatters and reflects light in a scale-like texture. It adds a distinct, mobile flash accent without requiring a bulky bundle. A few strands are enough to bring extra life to a streamer wing or tail.

Construction and use

Gliss N Glow can be used on its own or combined with synthetic hair and other flash strands. The ribbed texture works especially well as a reflective layer in a baitfish profile, placed between wing layers or along the sides as a lateral accent. Trim the material after securing it to match the intended length and outline of the fly.

• Streamer wings: add a small bundle to a hair foundation, separating the strands before securing them firmly.
• Tails and sides: individual strands provide controlled flash without making the construction unnecessarily dense.
• Preparation: align the tips, hold the material in a small bundle and bind it with several tight thread wraps.
• Profile: trim the strands with scissors after tying, leaving enough freedom for movement around the wing.
