H2O Krystal Flash

H2O Krystal Flash is fine, textured synthetic strand material with a reflective finish. Its finer form adds flash without creating a heavy or rigid layer. It can be tied as individual strands or in small bundles and placed in a wing, tail or along the sides of a streamer.

Construction and use

Krystal Flash works well as a supporting accent alongside synthetic hair, fur or other wing fibres. A small amount placed between layers distributes reflection through the profile while allowing the strands to move freely. Trim the material after tying to suit the intended tail or wing length.

• Streamer tail: add several strands and secure them at the hook shank, keeping the fibres evenly distributed.
• Wing: insert a small bundle between hair layers rather than making the whole construction overly dense.
• Fly sides: individual fibres provide a restrained reflective accent that defines the silhouette.
• Trimming: even the tips after securing the material, guiding the scissors along the desired profile.
