H2O Steve Farrar SF Blend is a prepared, tapered blend of Slinky fibres and fine Angel Hair-style flash, approximately 10 inches long. Its built-in taper helps create a streamer wing with a naturally narrowing shape without relying on scissors to form the entire profile. The blend combines soft synthetic fibres with a fine reflective accent.

Construction and use

Choose a section to match the hook, place the tapered end toward the tail and secure the material with several firm thread wraps. A second light layer can be added to a larger fly, but avoid making a dense bundle. After tying in, separate the fibres with your fingers, check the symmetry and trim the profile if needed. The blend suits streamer wings, backs and tails.
