Its 1/2-inch width builds a controlled, fuller profile without arranging individual strands by hand. Construction and use
Work with it as a prepared brush: tie in the wire core at the rear of the shank or near the eye, then wrap it forward in close, even turns. Sweep the fibres rearward after each turn so they remain clear of the next wrap. Tie off the core, comb the fibres into shape and trim the outline to suit a baitfish profile. Short sections can be used for a lateral accent or tail. Secure each end firmly, since the wire core carries the brush during wrapping.
