H2O Streamer Brush 1 inch (flash)
H2O Streamer Brush 1 inch (flash) is a ready brush of soft synthetic fibres held in a stainless-steel wire core. The brush is 1 inch wide. This construction speeds up the creation of a fuller streamer wing, back or lateral profile because the material is already secured along the wire and can be wrapped on the hook shank. Once wrapped, the fibres can be swept back, arranged and trimmed.
Construction and use
Secure the start of the brush at the chosen point on the shank, then wrap it with even tension. Sweep the fibres rearward before each turn so they do not become trapped under the next wrap. Tie off the end firmly, comb through the material and trim the silhouette. Avoid packing the turns unnecessarily; spacing gives better control over bulk and streamer movement.
- Wings are built by wrapping the brush evenly along the required section of the shank.
- Backs and sides are shaped after sweeping the fibres toward the tail.
- Flash detail can be distributed by adjusting wrap density without overpacking the profile.
- Trimming is done after tying off the brush, giving the streamer its intended shape.
