Hanak Competition H 280 BL Fly Hooks

Hanak Competition H 280 BL is a barbless hook for stillwater and wet flies. It combines an extended shank with a specialised stillwater shape and Wave point, giving tiers additional room for elongated patterns.

Design and use

The extended shank allows a longer body, segmentation or a fuller dressing without compressing the tying area at the eye. The Wave point gives the hook its defined geometry, so shape the front of the fly along the hook axis and keep the point clear. The construction is intended for stillwater and wet flies. Black nickel provides a discreet finish for the completed pattern.
