Hanak Competition H 300 BL Fly Hooks

Hanak Competition H 300 BL is a barbless hook for Czech nymphs, intended for classic weighted patterns and slim nymphs fished close to the bottom. Its black nickel finish suits subdued fly designs and keeps the metalwork visually unobtrusive beneath the body materials.

Design and use

Choose the size according to the proportions of the nymph being imitated, leaving enough tying space for the body, thorax and finishing wraps. The barbless form supports easier fish release and calls for controlled pressure during tying and the fight. H 300 BL is a practical foundation for Czech nymph patterns when a straightforward arrangement of materials on the hook is required.
