Hanak Competition H 400 BL Fly Hooks

Hanak Competition H 400 BL is a barbless Jig Classic hook for bead-headed flies. Its black nickel finish provides a dark base for nymphs, gammarus patterns and other jig designs in which the bead is a central part of the construction.

Design and use

Match the bead to the hook size and leave enough room for it to seat securely near the eye. The rear section can then be arranged with a compact body and a clear finishing point so the fly retains balanced proportions. This model is intended for jig-style patterns where the bead and materials form an orderly, weighted profile. The barbless form supports straightforward fish release and calls for consistent pressure during the fight.
