Hareline 1 1/2 in. Sparkle Pseudo Hackle
Hareline 1 1/2 in. Sparkle Pseudo Hackle is a prepared fibre strip made to be wound on a hook shank. Once prepared, it forms a mobile collar, synthetic hackle or a body element on flies and streamers. The fibres are 1.5 inches long, with a waved texture and a reflective finish.
Construction and use
Remove the temporary cross fibres created during manufacture before tying in the strip. Cut a working section, pull out the cross fibres as directed, and leave the waved trilobal fibres exposed and aligned. Tie in the prepared end at the hook shank, then wind it while sweeping the fibres back before each turn. Use the number and spacing of turns to control the volume of a collar or the amount of movement along a streamer body.
