Hareline Adhesive Eyes

Hareline Adhesive Eyes are flat self-adhesive visual eyes for finishing streamers and other flies where a head detail is needed without added ballast. Their slightly shiny surface reflects light, while the flat shape sits closely against a prepared fly surface.

Construction and use

Shape the head first, remove dust and grease, and make sure the surface is completely dry. Peel away the backing, position the eye symmetrically, and press it down across its full surface. Select a size that matches the head width, checking that it does not obstruct the hook eye or extend onto the bend. For additional security, the edges may be sealed with suitable resin or adhesive.
