Hareline Arctic Fox Hair

Hareline Arctic Fox Hair is soft, mobile arctic fox hair supplied as a fur or hair patch. Its long fibres form flowing wings and tails, making the material suitable mainly for streamers and salmon flies.

Construction and use

Select a bundle of the required volume, comb out excess underfur and align the tips before tying. The hair can be secured on the shank as a wing or tail, and several layers can be built without heavily compressing the material. Use even, moderate thread pressure so the fine fibres retain their movement.
