Hareline Buggy Nymph Legs
Hareline Buggy Nymph Legs are prepared elastic strands for tying nymph legs and other accents that need free movement. The strands can be cut to length and tied in singly or in small groups. A selected colour variant can also be divided into short feelers, tails or body accents on a fly.
Construction and use
Cut the required number of strands and tie them in individually or in small bundles. For legs, secure one side at the chosen point on the hook, align the attachment points, and then tie in the opposite side. Short, lightly tensioned sections give a restrained profile, while longer sections can be trimmed after the fly is finished. Use moderate thread pressure so the elastic strands are not flattened or cut during tying.
- Form: prepared strands for legs and mobile accents.
- Handling: divide the strands and trim them to the required length.
- Uses: nymph legs, feelers, tails and small streamer details.
