Hareline Chockletts Filler is a 1.5-inch-wide long-fibre flash chenille for building full, mobile streamer sections. It can be palmered as a synthetic hackle or used as a collar. The material is particularly useful for filling the transitions between articulated streamer segments, including Game Changer-style constructions.

Construction and use

Secure a short section of the core, then wind the material while sweeping the long fibres back before each turn. For a palmered body, keep the fibres distributed around the shank; for a collar, concentrate the turns at the chosen station. Use it across the transitions between segments to fill open spaces and create a smoother profile. After tying, arrange the fibres with your fingers and trim only those extending beyond the intended silhouette.
