Hareline Chockletts Foam Skin

Hareline Chockletts Foam Skin is an adhesive foam-backed skin with a sticky foam side and a decorative outer face. It can be cut into bodies, backs and wing cases, or used to build floating profiles. Each pack contains two strips measuring approximately 2 x 6 inches, providing material for shaped components with consistent outlines.

Construction and use

Mark or cut the required shape while the material is still in strip form, then peel away the protective liner from the foam side. Apply the piece directly to a prepared underbody, or shape it on the hook and reinforce the attachment points with thread. Keep the decorative face outward when it is intended to form the visible back or body surface. Secure the ends with a small number of thread wraps and trim them after the profile has been set.
