Hareline Chockletts Gamchanger Chenille
Hareline Chocklett's Gamechanger Chenille is a synthetic chenille with translucent fibres set on a braided core. It is used to build substantial bodies for articulated streamers, including Game Changer patterns. After winding, the fibres can be brushed and trimmed to establish a baitfish profile.
Construction and use
Tie in a short section of the core on the hook shank or on the appropriate part of an articulated system, then wind the chenille in close touching turns. Sweep the fibres back before every turn so they remain outside the next wrap. Once the body is built, brush the material and trim it gradually to the shape of the intended baitfish. Light surfaces may be marked with a permanent marker to add a back, bars or lateral line when that suits the pattern.
- Construction: translucent fibres mounted on a braided core.
- Working method: wind, brush and trim to shape the profile.
- Uses: articulated Game Changer-style streamers.
- Shaping: form the body to the silhouette of the imitation.
