Hareline Chockletts Loco Foam

Hareline Chockletts Loco Foam is a foam sheet with a pearl or metallic face on one side. The lightweight sheet can be cut and shaped for fly bodies, backs, wings, segmented profiles and marked details on larger patterns.

Construction and use

Select the face suited to the intended visual treatment, mark the outline and cut it with sharp scissors or a fine blade. Tie the piece to the hook with broad, even wraps rather than compressing the foam at a single point. For a body or back, fold or pull the material into the planned profile and secure it at the front; for a wing, leave the required silhouette before trimming. Check symmetry and remove excess only after the tie-in is stable.
