Hareline Chockletts Sili Skin

Hareline Chockletts Sili Skin is a thin, highly elastic translucent sheet with one adhesive face. It can be cut into narrow overlays, backs, wing cases and body details, then fitted to a curved profile without adding a bulky construction.

Construction and use

Cut the required piece while it is still part of the sheet, before exposing the adhesive face. Fit it to the underbody or shaped thorax, expose the adhesive and apply it from one end with light tension. If additional thread support is useful, use broad, moderate wraps so the film is not cut. Once the profile is set, trim the edges and secure the finishing point cleanly.
