Hareline Crazy Legs
Hareline Crazy Legs are silicone tabs carrying prepared strands for legs, feelers, tails and mobile accents in fly patterns. Family variants include tipped ends, flake treatments and clear versions, so the visual finish should be selected from the specific colour option. The material is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater patterns.
Construction and use
Separate the required number of strands from a tab, either individually or in small groups. Tie them in at the centre, at the root or at the rear of the body according to the intended layout. Trim the length to match the fly after securing the strands, and check that the thread wraps hold the silicone without cutting it before applying a final finish. Tipped and flake versions change the contrast while using the same tie-in method.
